  1. I guess we'll have to wait for the draft and free agency to avoid tampering charges, but maybe we'll hear some juicy rumors.
  2. I suspect our entire current starting lineup hates it here with the possible exception of Hunter, because he knows he won't get this much playing time elsewhere.
  3. Yeah, it's a shame that we play so much better as a team when he's out. We are stuck with five unmovable contracts: Trae, Murray, Collins, Capella and Hunter. Oh wait...that's our starting lineup. Then when OO, JJ and AJ are eligible for renewal, we'll overpay all over again.
  4. Did you like Trae pounding the ball for a shot clock violation that resulted in the overtime? Why do our coaches, even Snyder, let him do that? It is so predictable. Everyone can see it coming, but they let him do it over and over again. Unreal.
  5. As my nephew would say when he was little, "Pitiful. Need some help?"
  6. Some people might call it a game. More like a tragedy.
  7. We could really use a player like Taurean Prince.
  8. Murray ain't been here long enough to develop as high a level of stankousness yet.
  9. Jerami Grant as PF? We need more than 4 RPG from our PF. We're already going through that.
  10. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/hawks-news-tony-ressler-keeping-the-door-open-on-all-moves-including-trae-young-trade/ar-AA18dPom All I am saying is no reference to Nick. My wife also saw an interview with Tony, where someone asked him if Nick was running the team. Tony got really irritated with the question and and responded sharply with a "No."
  11. Never have understood the fascination with KAT. He just isn't that good. Puts up nice numbers, but doesn't win. Embiid eats his lunch every time they play against each other. Official announcement: All players should be available for trade, including Trae & Collins. Yeah, I said it. We just need to get a decent return on our investment, and get team oriented players in return. I can see holding on to OO, JJ & AJ (maybe) to see what they are capable of after being in charge. I also would also hold onto Murray unless we get a great offer. Maybe Bey too. No more overpriced contracts or extensions though. I would insist on Collins having the finger surgery in the offseason (or even now, as he's not really producing) to see if he can return to some semblance of his former self next season, to make a decision to retain or trade him. P.S. We've got to keep Bogi, so Lauren will stay around.
  12. I missed most of the first quarter last night (taking a nap in my old age), but my wife said that Tony Ressler (the principal owner) said that Korver and Fields along with input from Snyder would be making personnel decisions. No mention of Nick. I'm not sure if he named Korver first or Fields first, but my wife named Korver first. Of course, Tony would have the final call.
  13. If JC has successful finger surgery in the offseason, and can resume his former 3pt percentage and his rebounding, the answer is an obvious stick with JC. However, Bey can be a useful bench player at 3 and 4. I'd like to see what JC can do with Snyder as the HC before we make rash decisions. Bey rebounds like a 3 so far ( a lot like Hunter.)
  14. After last night, I am hopeful that we will retain Prunty as an assistant coach.
  15. The play has been challenged by....um....Hawks coach...New Guy.
  16. Young fools. Only now...at the end, do you understand. Your feeble skills are no match for the Nate influence.
  17. Old habits are hard to break evidently.
  18. New strategy...Every time the Hawks start to falter, fire the present coach, and bring in a new assistant as the interim coach. (i.e. a new coach every couple of months.)
  19. Ruh Roh. Where'd the momentum go? Bring it back!!!
  20. "Lord, we thank you for this food..."
  21. OK Prunty. Leaving Hunter in with 2 fouls is not a good indicator of basketball intelligence.
  22. Yes, I don't know how credible Chatman is, but that is a strange statement, and doesn't give folks a warm fuzzy sense of comfort.
  23. It might have to be a multi team trade to get Trae to an LA team, so he can live in his new Calabasas mansion.
