  1. We haven't been playing Justin anyway. Now we've got one more mediocre 6'5" wing and one less big. I don't see the point in it. If you're going to trade him anyway, at least get someone we can use.
  2. Probably because there is no plan. They're just making it up as they go.
  3. Yep. At least Drummond can score though.
  4. Yep. He clogs up the middle for a lot of players on offense, has hands of stone, leads the league in missed bunnies (not verified), and he's not that great of a defender (observe how many times he just watched someone blow by him and make a layup or dunk.) Let him come off the bench or trade him.
  5. I want to know about that contorted face down below Nate's head. I thought the Elephant Man was dead.
  6. I hope he comes up with a deal that screws the hawks and their idiot family management, profit first motivation. They have let this city down, and we can only hope that when they do sell the team, a good buyer who wants to win (for the right reasons) will get the team.
  7. Because trades simply for the sake of saving money are not beneficial to the team. For the owners' pockets maybe, but not the team and not the fans.
  8. Nick would trade Wemby and 2 first round picks for Gobert.
  9. Bingo - If they fire him, they're stuck with paying the rest of his salary. If he resigns, they don't, although they might work out some small token buyout of the rest of his contract. Management & Owners bird sounds don't quite match the screech of a hawk. It's more like the chirp of a song bird...cheap, cheap, cheap.
  10. It doesn't matter. Do you think the refs will put a stop to LeBron? The league office would have their head.
  11. Hi Wretch. Welcome to JC Anonymous.
  12. The fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Go Northcyde!!!
  13. I didn't say Like was a superstar either. Ask DM how he feels about it now. We're just another Wemby competitor, like San Antonio.
  14. True. The tank remained until they rerouted Riverdale Rd. I don't know what happened to it then.
  15. That's interesting. We used to have a WW2 era tank in front of our school buildings (Elementary and Junior High (before the days of "Middle Schools" - It was the high school prior to the split between high school and junior high) back in the 1960s & 1970s. Then the ATL airport bought the property, the schools were relocated and the tank went bye bye. In about the 5th grade or so, one of the prettiest girls climbed up on top of the tank and fell off. She landed on her head. It took a long time for her to come back to school.
  16. And as long as he continued using Lloyd Pierce's offense we went to the ECF. With Nate's offense, we've continued to decline.
  17. And we already know that Trae is not content to move without the ball, so we have two point guards for what? If Trae is the de facto GM, his first move is already a failure.
  18. But he told everyone he would do it.
  19. Trae? A superstar? I thought superstars had people lining up wanting to play with them as their teammate. Trae is a superstar...in his own mind.
  20. I'd say the running of the business has been handed to Nick by Tony. Nick's priority is to appease Trae. Landry's role is to assist Nick in appeasing Trae. I'd say this is a recipe for disaster. In a way, I wish I never really had been made aware of these shenanigans. Tell me if I am wrong, but I don't recall hearing about Luka purposefully getting GMs and Coaches fired. I know that some players have orchestrated the acquisition of certain players, but at least the players they fought to get have made it a full season before experiencing "the thrill is gone." The ownership and front office management is a disaster, and I wonder if things would be this bad if we had not traded to get Trae. I guess we'll never know. I feel badly for some of the negative comments I've had about Schlenk. I did not know people were undermining him early on. What a mess.
  21. He's trying to get fired so he gets all of his remaining contract rather than retiring at season end and only getting some sort of negotiated buyout.
  22. Why would Zion leave an already good team to join the "Family Circus?"
  23. Trae and Justin Holiday for LeBron James. There have been rumors he wants out of LA.
