Well I have to think by now it is pretty clear that the problem is our PG situation. I think we are usually able to hide it a little better when Al is playing. I think we all need to change our expectations when we play a team with a quick backcourt because the results aren't going to be great unless they fail to exploit the matchup(terrible coach) or we can hide it with an active front court (see switching). When Al is out the switch becomes laughable. The end result of having a huge weakness is having a bunch of close games and close games means the starters play more minutes. I can think of one game where we had a blow out and that was the Jazz and we were shooting lights out.

The orlando series last year, I had tickets to games 3 and 4 and didn't even go to game 4.

I really like Josh, but if we don't have the right coach/leaders to reign him in or are unwilling to get one then we would need to strongly consider the trade as it would be better for him and better for us. I don't think anyone wants Josh being the volume shooter on their team.

Unfortunately that doesn't go well with being cheap.

I guess it depends when you think guys will make their leap. I usually think it is in the 3rd year so I'm willing to give him another year, but getting another PG late in the first round can be done any year. For instance, I would've taken that Teague/Thomson trade that was rumored because Thomson could at least play backup PF consistently since Josh Powell has fallen off recently.

I thought that game was actually pretty close. I would like to see the falcons beat the pats. There was a game a couple years ago where we were on the game winning drive and they had a bogus call saying Ryan stepped out of bounds so we were short of the first down. I was so pissed, does anyone remember that?

I hear ya, but when josh got snubbed for the all star team last year he played a lot better. So maybe they will take on that approach. It really takes a coach to put some news clippings up in the locker room and motivate them or something. New coach, different motivation maybe, only time will tell.

Plus, I like chip on the shoulder syndrome and got snubbed syndrome more than front runner get lazy syndrome. Did I use syndrome enough?

Well I think another point about bring Nash over is him helping Teague develop. Dragic is like a Nash clone and I'm sure he didn't start that way. Does Bibby know how to help Teague become a penetrating guard, doubtful?
