  1. I have seen next to no games this season, but it’s hard to justify paying a guy who puts up meh numbers on a bad team. He seems like a quality big, but anything more than a 3/30 million extension is too much imo.
  2. If you need a basket Trae Young might be your guy. It will take him 10 tries, but he’ll get you one!
  3. Naturally I am going to say Miles is the best player in the draft. He’s the ultimate team player and Izzo has had to get on a few times this season about being more aggressive and taking the game over. The biggest knock on him has been he doesn’t drive the hoop enough. He’s actually developed into a very good jump shooter and the improvement from early in the season to now is clear. I don’t care for college stats necessarily when it comes to evaluating a players potential, but his stat line is pretty solid. He does need a little more development on the offensive end though, but he seems to pick his spots out well. He will hang around the perimeter and lull a defender to sleep and then just blow by and get to the rack. Need him to be more consistent overall and at times he does disappear, but when the moment comes he’s ready. Check out his game winner against Purdue over last weekend. Miles told Izzo to give him the ball. The play was for him to get to the basket and draw a foul at a minimum. He saw the defender playing off a bit and drained a 25 foot three to ice the game. Defensively he’s gotten better as well. Still goes for the highlight block more often then he should and that results in missed block out assignments, but he’s a kid. That’s going to happen. I am most impressed with his passing from last year. He isn’t a great passer, but he’s improved in that area. More pros than cons for Miles for sure.
  4. My thoughts...Miles Bridges does not play for Michigan. After I read that I stopped reading.
  5. literally never heard of the players the hawks got today.
  6. Yeah I don’t understand what’s BS about it either. I am sure the Bucks asked if Dennis was available and the Hawks said yes or no. If, yes then I imagine Milwaukee floated some sort of package and the Hawks said no thanks.

    Rodney Hood

Would only be worth it if when he is introduced each game that DJ Khaled song comes on.... ”Welcome to the Hooooood!”
  8. Who gets all the blame now that Love is out? Gotta be Korver, right?
  9. Think the Clippers are getting a good return on Blake. Bradley is a good two way player and Tobias is still young and already very solid. Blake helps Detroit, but that’s a lot for a guy who doesn’t do enough to help his new team out.
  10. Nasty injury. Hope the kid recovers fully. He is a perfect fit on that team too. Good defensively and can hurt you on offense if you allow him to. Wonder if they look at Bazemore now?
  11. Good to see the Wizards find their footing last night!
  12. What’s the point of the salary cap if teams can consistently just manipulate it?

He can score in a variety of ways right now. He’s a threat from the perimeter and can get to the free throw line as well. I think there is plenty to build on for his offensive game and see no reason why he can’t do so.

He’s raw, but slowly beginning to scratch the surface and play more dominant. Last night was easily his best all around game. It would be something amazing if he stuck around another season in East Lansing because another year under Izzo would do him wonders. As it is now he’s probably a mid to late lottery pick, but could fly up inside the top 3 in 2019.

  18. He’s skilled for sure. Has improved each season too. He put a hurting on MSU a couple weeks back as well. He was hands down the best player on the court in that game.
  19. I think as recently as two weeks ago Miles was being too passive and trying to let his teammates get theirs. Izzo has repeatedly said he wants him to be selfish. Early on he fell in love with his three point shot. He was stroking it too, but has come crashing back down. He did have a sprained ankle about 6 weeks back that did hamper him for a bit so I that could make sense as to why he hung out on the perimeter so much. Statistically he’s about the same as he was last season which doesn’t mean anything. I think he’s gotten better defensively, decision making, and passing. His ball handling could use some work and yes, his offense at times can be stagnant. He’s not a finished product by any means, but he’s still got half a season left.
  20. I feel you on the Kawhi comparison. I haven’t watched any of Villanova so I know very little about Bridges. He’s probably further along offensively than Kawhi was his rookie season though or at least he should be when Mikal plays next season.
  21. We talking Miles Bridges or Villanova’s Mikal Bridges?
  22. Hawks just might screw this thing up and accidentally win this one.
  23. This team is years away from being semi-relevant again. Any and everyone should be made available for trade.
