They won it because it was the leagues way of rewarding them for playing nice and sending Davis to the Lakers. Lottery has been tainted for since forever. League as a whole is dirty as heck.

It’s a three player draft. Obviously there will be guys selected after the third pick that produce, but right now nobody knows who that is. Nobody wants mid lottery selections in a weak draft class. Winning games last season only hurt this team.

Klay is going to stay with Golden State. He either gets a max deal now or signs something short like a 2 and 1 option or a 1 and 1 option. Continues to be awesome and gets a super max deal after.

The days leading up to the trade the Lakers were one of the top three or four teams who had best odds to win the title. There is no chance Vegas didn’t know this was coming.

More often than not teams go up and down just as the seasons turn. I think 85% of most sports league are cyclical and a small handful are perennial contenders.

Four first round picks with heavy protections I imagine? All things being equal I don’t make that trade if I am Minnesota. Things aren’t that way and I imagine this is the best deal they will get. Wonder if any players would be included?

I think most basketball fans would agree the game ridiculous right now. Most people who like basketball (NBA) are probably just fans of offense and points. Big difference between basketball fans and NBA fans.

One is a near 7 footer and the other is 105 LB midget who actually plays a position on the floor that requires him to shoot threes. It’s a waste to compare three point shooting numbers.

He worked hard last off season before his Sophomore campaign. Honing his dribble which was clear during his last college season and really working on his shot especially from three. I never really saw a lot of things offensively that he did at MSU that really made me think he had an arsenal of offensive skills. There were glimpses at times, but or less he got by on athletic ability. I think now as a pro he will need to figure out something what he can rely on to get buckets though. That will come eventually, by trying to find it at this level is going to take time.

JJJ had good numbers for Memphis. He played 25 minutes in a blowout loss. Saw him make a couple nice moves and attack the basket. Miles Bridges wasn’t involved for Charlotte at all. Offensively he isn’t skilled, but I think what will hopefully get him some consistent play is defense. Will need to figure out how to defend the different players he might see on a given night. Ayton was great and Luca was pretty solid too. Sexton wasn’t anything special. Bagley didn’t do anything to exciting.
