Deng said he's now out of position playing SF, better off playing PF like he did in MIA and a trade would clear a possible PF logjam in LA. The SA-ATL pipeline may end with Schlenk so taking on salary may not even be an option. This upcoming season Nets don't have a pick and need to win as much as possible to prevent gifting Boston a top 3 pick for the third consecutive year. Crabbe is 3 and D just like Hardaway. Atkinson coached Hardaway. They already talking about giving Porter the max, I'm sure they'll offer Hardaway the max to try to pry him from ATL since now offering Crabbe the max didn't work.
