I wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks win. Wizards aren't that good.
They could make ECF. It just depends on which Hawks team shows up the next couple of games.
Hardaway is a RFA. Teams don't hardly do sign and trades anymore. If a team wants Hardaway they'll put an offer out for him.
Bembry isn't a proven player. He's a raw role player.
19th and 15th picks aren't going to get you a star in a draft. Now, BOS having those Nets picks and Sixers having their own picks. Those are assets.
Cavs pick will be high.
Bud/Wilcox just need to surround him with shooters and bigs that'll consistently set screens for him and give him space. Dwight is a bad fit for him. Pero and Horford would have been great.
If only ATL had gotten Hill in the Teague trade :(
Leverage. I don't get what ORL would gain with Hill. It's not like he's doing anything special in ATL. This past summer, Bud if anything had the most influence.
He couldn't do anything in TOR. I highly doubt he'll do anything in CLE. Anywho, he probably wouldn't play anyways. Tristan will be back and Frye and Love can split minutes at C.
Top 4 seeds get homecourt. At this point it's just the matter of staying healthy and experimenting different lineups before the playoffs. I know CLE doesn't care, they beat GS on their home floor game 7. BOS is cocky enough to think they can beat anybody.
ATL just need to keep winning. They aren't consistent.
Yes, lack of rebounding will hurt Boston but rebounding is a team effort. You got guards like Westbrook and Harden getting 10 assists, no excuse for the effort not to be there.
Him and Howard would have been a bad fit. Other than rebounding, Horford is a great fit for Boston.
Right! They should have tried to make a deal with the Nets work, probably would have got the package the Celtics got for Pierce/KG/Terry.
Payton is good. It's just like when they brought in Vucevic, they didn't surround him with the right pieces.
I'd think losing to BOS would be worse. Dwight was brought in to rebound and be a post threat which Hawks fans including myself complained about the Hawks lacking for years.
It'd be something to lose a series to a guy you didn't think was worth bringing back.
It'd be nice to get rid of Baze but ATL probably is stuck with him unless they want to take back a longer bad contract (3+years) or swap straight up for somebody like Deng/Evan Turner.
The 2014 team was deeper. Looking back, you got 3 bench guys (Thabo, Baze, Dennis) from that team as starters. I can't say now ATL has 3 guys on the roster right now who could step and start if Thabo, Baze, Dennis weren't on the team.
Dennis has no true threat of him being replaced as a starter like Teague did which is something Dennis hadn't earned. He's not on the level of Kyrie, Curry, etc.
They should have never traded Mack. They should have signed Jennings this past summer to push Dennis.
