MIA wasn't a trash team. They had Dragic, Wade and Whiteside. Had Whiteside not get hurt, TOR would have went home. INDY had George, Turner, Vogel, Mahinmi. Basically saying INDY and MIA weren't scrub teams. I had MIA in the ECF. BOS is better now with Horford and they improved their 3 point shooting. They had nobody to stop Millsap and Horford, now they got Horford and shoot better than ATL.

THJR and Teague are inconsistent. He's just a role player. Baze is just a role player. I want to see legit developed stars.

TOR got DeRozan, Lowry and Jonas (when he plays aggressive). Boston got IT, Bradley and Horford. They'd beat ATL. ATL doesn't have anybody on the roster who can keep up scoring with a IT, Lowry or DeRozan sadly.

This year has been weird. I assume most start at the beginning of the season. At this point, look into future picks like 2018. Nobody is going to give up a good 2017 pick. 2018 Draft is good. The vets can get an early summer vacation and management get a head start on 2017-18 season plans.

I like the Prince selection. I didn't realize he was so old, about to be 23 this season. Same age as Giannis. I'm not sure to expect much from him. Scott was older when he came into the NBA, I expected more from him but he just turned out to be a role player. I don't know why Bud keeps getting these college juniors/seniors. Yeah, if only he could shoot. I wonder what's Bud expectation for him.

Bremby and Prince won't be the stars ATL needs. They look like role players. Spurs had their big 3 (Parker, Duncan, Ginobli). Can't see any of the Hawks young guys with that type of potential.

It's kind of hard to compare Al and Sap. They play different positions. I'd think with the hype Boston received this offseason, the fact he's liked by coaches and playing for Boston may work in his favor.

I'd take Horford, Whiteside, Embiid and Brook Lopez over him.

Patterson is better than anyone Hawks could get in FA as a Millsap replacement. Matter of fact, with the PF FA market being weak, he'll be highly sought after. Hawks would own his bird rights. Ross is a shooter. A late 1st could be an asset to get a key role player like CLE did to get Korver. A late first probably could get you the PJ Tuckers etc. a proven vet vs. hoping (insert journeyman) becomes your next DeMarre.

That is true. Maybe get a future first like 2018, 2018 should be a good draft. Nobody expects the Hawks to win the title this year and they could go into the 2017-18 the way they should have this year except they'd have an additional 2018 1st.

I wouldn't expect a great return. NO didn't get a great return for CP3 but it put them in position to be worse to get AD that year rather than keeping CP3 until his deal was up and having a worse pick like ATL's that year to get Jenkins. Nobody is going to give up a great pick for Millsap but keeping him definitely cost ATL a top 7 pick in this year's great draft. Watch Millsap leave for nothing and ATL have a non lottery pick after a 1st/2nd rd exit.
