Hawks might get Dwight Howard, i have a feeling.. Dwight is really good rebounder, and he improved his free throws, i jsut dont like his kiddy attitude, and he's injury prone too though. Also, George hill for Jeff Teague trade rumor, i think that would be a good trade for the Hawks imo. George is really high IQ player and very unselfish player.

I am really sorry I like Tiago but he's been injury prone since his last years in San antonio, so im really not surprised. I was happy for Hawks when he got him, but i already knew that he was injury prone, and will miss a lot of games again.. I just hope all these trade talks would be benefit, and help to build a better future for the Hawks.

To be Honest, I hope Hawks keep their core players, they really have good team chemistry. i know rebounding is really an issue because Hawks bigs are undersized but they still find ways to win big games just like from last season. They also need to find a replacement for DMC, in the Small forward position. It hard to find a guy like DMC who plays hard every night, plays great defense. and also that can score. I think the Bench is good enough, no need to make a lot of changes, Tim hardaway is improving , Schröder still makes a lot mistakes but im still faithful that he will learn to play in more control, learn from his mistakes and be more aware of his turnovers. He's still young, he still has a lot time to progress and to grow. I like Tiago because he helped my spurs during that championship run, but i wouldn't mind if they trade Tiago for a better big. It's very interesting, what Hawks moves going to make, will they keep the core players or push the reset button and start fresh?

Teague is really high IQ player, i have a lot of respect to him, definitely one of the top point guards in the NBA. It seems Hawks would likely to keep Dennis because he is still young and have potential but you never know what can happen, If hawks either trade teague or dennis, hopefully what they get in exchange will benefit and help the team in the future.

Obviously right now Warriors are the better team, Spurs made a lot careless turnovers, and didn't play good defensively. Warriors played with a lot of pace, running and gunning. It was hard for the Spurs to defend when they play against a team who really plays at a fast pace. I wanna see what kind of adjustments will Spurs do when they next meet Warriors in the regular season. Spurs focus and goal is winning the championship, that 30 defeat loss was definitely tough but im sure they will find ways and make adjustments to beat warriors especially if they do meet in the playoffs.

Hawks still have talent but not the same level talent as last year when they still had DMC. An average talented player is good enough that can fit in the system and also plays good defense. They dont really need to beg for a superstar, imo. A lucky draft pick , and good scouting overseas or here in US would help too. You do need talent to win a championship, but it takes more than talent to win a championship just like Tim Duncan said. If Hawks have a decent amount of talent, every player fits in the system and plays good team defense and plays unselfishly, then i believe hawks can go to that championship level caliber team. I know it will happen because of Bud, who has been part of SA's organization and big part of success when Spurs won those early previous championships. It will just take some time, a lot of hardwork and patience.

Dennis made a lot of silly turnovers in the 3rd qtr, In the 4th qtr, he played more in control which he needs to do more consistently, less turnovers, less forced shots and playing more for his teammates. I give them credit for making that comeback. Hawks have still much a lot work to do and to improve on, I still believe Hawks can be one of the top elite teams in the NBA in the future , They just have to keep working hard, improving and learning from their mistakes, It takes a lot of patience, hardwork, and dedication, to be a championship caliber team, which i really think Hawks will be one of those teams someday.

I haven't been watching hawks recent games , but i still follow them by looking nba scoreboards and highlights. Watched the highlights today vs Chicago. felt like i was watching last year hawks, a lot of ball movement, and unselfish plays. It was fun to watch. It's good to see them playing like this again knowing that they were having a lot of up and downs this season. I just hope they keep playing like this consistently, every game not just every other game. Also, Hawks don't have a superstar caliber player, so they have to rely on ball movement a lot which is not a bad thing, but at crucial situations or moments, they need a go to guy, who can make big buckets and to rely on, That's the only thing Hawks missing imo. But im not saying that they don't have a chance to go deep in the playoffs, They have a chance to go deep in the playoffs if they play like the way they did tonight against Chicago. Ball movement, unselfish plays, and playing for each other, i think that's the strength hawks have, It's also the reason why i still follow the hawks, i really enjoy watching them when they play as a team.

Last year when Hawks still had DMC, they had enough talent, and DMC always plays hard every night. I don't knoq why they let go DMC.. not really fan of that move. .. Korver isnt the same as last year, after that injury caused by Delladenova. Teague and horford, i feel like they're less motivated compared last year. I think Hawks just need to look for a player that is DMC or Kawhi leonard type, that plays hard and give 100% every night. I know Bud is good at finding undiscovered talent player, because he's the one who forced Coach pop to do the George Hill and Kawhi trade. Getting a good draft pick player would help hawks a lot too.

A lot of people here criticizing coach Bud, but i still trust him and believe he can make Hawks get to the next level, it will take some time.

Watched the game, it was kinda boring, feel like hawks didn't even feel like playing that game.. but oh well it's just preseason.

Congrats to Thabo! I remember arguing in this thread in the past that he should haven't clubbing late in night knowing that he has a game the following day, but I never think Thabo as a bad person, and he didn't deserved his leg get broken by the NYC police. Watching hawks last year playoffs without Thabo was hard.. Hopefully this season he'll stay healthy and will be able to help his team and participate in this season playoffs.

Really excited for the Hawks this year!!! It's still sad that Demarre Caroll is not in this team anymore, he was really one of the best defensive/stopper in this team but i think with the addition of new players like Tim Jr Hardway, Tiago splitter, Justin holiday and Walter Tavares, will help this team a lot with more depth and size. Also, im glad that Thabo is healthy, hope he will stay healthy for the rest season, his versatility and defense is really important for this team. Tiago Splitter is a great pickup for Hawks, he's not fancy or big man that gets 30-40 points every night but he still a decent quality big man, he can still contribute and help a team in many different ways. He was a big part when spurs made the championship run in 2014. He has that championship experience and hopefully he can share that knowledge and work ethic to his new teammates. Hawks is still my favorite team in the east. Im gonna keep watching and supporting them. I really enjoyed watching them last year. The way how they play for each other, and working together as team not relying on one guy, it was just really fun and beautiful to watch. Can't wait to see what Hawks will do this year and how much the team has improved and grow after a great season they had last year. Go Hawks Go! Caaawwwwww Caaaaawwww!

I have to be honest, DMC plays harder and always bring it every night compared to Danny Green. So, I rather keep DMC. Also, Danny was very inconsistent last season. .
