  1. Spurs record: 9 wins and 10 losses Nets record: 7 wins and 11 losses Magic: 1 win and 17 losses Teams: Dallas Mavericks 12 wins and 6 losses Utah Jazz 10 wins and 6 losses Kings 12 wins and 4 losses Lakers 15 wins and 3 losses Detroit 12 wins and 6 losses New Orleans 13 wins and 6 losses None of these teams are a one man show....
  2. I feel what your saying Trace...And some wonder why I've been so negitive the last three years. It's pretty easy to see the team has no direction at the current time. It doesn't take long to get atleast headed in the right direction..The frustrating thing is that I haven't seen any signs pointing to the team even looking to improve.
  3. Tah is playing better tahn Theo this year...Tag atleast hits the boards and is a big body. With Theo the team stives gives up about 45PPG in the paint each night.
  4. I understand that nobody wanted Lee Nailon...Why does nobody want him? I understand the interest in JT was very small. We both know why......Even Denver didn't want Dion....They went out and got old man Lenard instead...You know why? I understand that if wasn't for the Hawks.. Jacque Vaughn likely wouldn't be playing. Atleast half of this roster is players no other team would really want. They aren'g good enough to win. You can point to the Jazz...But they have a 18/7 guy in Harping THAT PLAYS GOOD DEFENSE....They have a real center whom I'd take over Theo.....Andrei has more potential that anybody on the hawks roster...Arryo was a guy that I believe has played very well overseas. Just because he wasn't well known doesn't mean he isn't any good. I told you this team wouldn't win last year and I told you it wouldn't win this year. It just isn't a very talented team and if you thik this team has any chance to be a 50 game winner you know very little about basketball.
  5. I change was needed years ago. I can't even get upset about their losing anymore. It gets to where it effects me less and less with each loss. I don't know what the owners have instore. But hopefully they will atleast get something started(changes) as soon as the deal goes through. Even Stotts has the" This team sucks" look on his face alot of the times. I really wish they hadn't sign JT and just kept the money to spend on FA's this coming offseason.
  6. Motivate these guys to do what? None of them other than Theo have really played a big part in winning any where. Jackson riding DUncans back doesn't count... I just don't understand what you expect Stotts to do with this team.
  7. It doesn't make a difference at this point.
  8. Of course. Why wouldn't he be considered a scorer over a shooter?
  9. Guys that average 20PPG are scorers.
  10. Scorers:Glen Robinson/Glen Rice/Nique/Allen Iverson Shooters:John Stockton/Brent Barry/Jeff Hornecek/Wesley Person/Micheal Redd
  11. There sure is alot of dreamin around here.......
  12. The team can do just aswell with Nazr as with Theo. Theo blocks shots, but he retards a team in so many with ways with his lack of scoring, rebounding and passing. You are playing 4 on 5 on offense when he's in the lineup.
  13. Don't want that tub of goo Jerome James. He's a worthless overweight bum. But I wouldn't mind getting rid of the overrated Theo Ratliff.
  14. Reef/Dog where the same as Baker/Dog. Nice numbers... but nice numbers don't win games alone. JT is such a flawed player. I think the team should consider leaving him unprotected...Guys like him and Jalen have good numbers, but they dont make teams better. They take too many bad shots....
  15. Nazr Mohammad for MO Pete/Eric Montross? Jason Terry Morris Peterson Stephen jackson Reef Theo
  16. I'm not trying to defend Dion right now...There just isn't much better on the team other than playing mini backcourt. If Diaw has done something great the last two games or so then I've missed it because I haven't watched much of the last two games. I didn't watch the Miami game at all. Diaw is a way smarter player than Dion...Sadly, he's been such a crippled offensive player and his passes get stole at a high rate.
  17. Diaw is a poor shooter....Look at that free throw percentage he's had. He has no post game, no jumper, alittle slashing ability but so did Ira Newble......This guy is a defensive role player and has the skills for nothing else. But keep him on the team because he's a cheap defensive player.
  18. For all you guys try and paint Theo and Diaw they are a HUGE libility......Sure Dion shoots bad, but he's STILL more of a threat than either Diaw or Theo. JT/Diaw/Jax/Reef/Theo will score about 83PPG. Without even Dion's threat to score that leaves more attention to JT/Reef. Sadly, you guys don't want to look at things with logic. No superstar+3 offensive libilities=bad idea. Dion isn't great, but he's more of an offensive threat than Theo and Boris together. Diaws skills are simply that of a role player. he has NO scoring potential.
  19. Reef/Jt are averaging pretty much what they usally do... These aren't 25PPG scorers....It's too easy to just sit and say they should get more shots and they'll be top 5 scorers. It doesn't work that way. Reef/Jt isn't enough to win you games...That can't and will never put out the kind of effort to be those types of scorers...and if they tried too...their defense would likely slip even futher than than it already is. That's why players like JT can score...They save all their entergy for the offensive end.
  20. The team is averaging 90PPG so that tells me that JT/SAR/Jackson aren't enough scorers. Theo isn't a scorer at all....7PPG on 39% shooting is TERRIBLE. I don't care what he did for Philly 4 years ago. That means nothing now. Just 4 years ago Penny was still thought of as a star player....Grant Hill was a star 4 years ago...Things change.
  21. The Hawks(Yes there is a Hawks fan out there) PG:Jeff McInnis SG:Vince Carter SF:Stephen Jackson PF:Shareef Abdur Rahim C:Eric Dampier PG:Jacque Vaughn SG:Boris Diaw SG:Calbert Cheney* SF:Josh Howard SF:Lee Nailon SF:Chris Crawford* PF/C:Shawn Kemp C:Mikki Moore *=IR That's my franchise team on ESPN NBA BASKETBALL.
  22. I'm not one to make excuses for Reef, but he did look tired last night to me. He couldn't have carried the team last night.
  23. The only problem with Diaw on the floor is that you are playing 3 on 5 on offense. Theo completely cripples a team on offense...He did have a decent offensive game, but something clearly happend to it. If we still had Dog Diaw would be the perfect starter for this team. But since Jackson isn't all that good and Theo can't score I really don't think much is going to help. It wouldn't be so bad if the team had a decent defender at C and a 18PPG SG....Heck, I heard Caron Butler is out there up for sale....
  24. My point is why should you get rewarded for doing nothing of importance your entire career? Should Reef has had a nice career statwise...But he's never made his team better or he's never competed at a high level in a 8 year career. Sure I'd cut the guy more slack if he was a young player, but he's played 8 years and has spun tires in the mud all 8 years. Is it all his fault? Stars make a team better, they played at a high level..Reef has never done anything on a consisant basis to deserve a star by his name either. Getting Reef was supposed to be a turn around in this franchise...But it didn't happen....it didn't happen at all.....In fact, Reef's contract hurts this team FAR more than he helps it. For every good effort Reef gives, a no heart effort usally follows. It doesn't matter why, when or where. Maybe Baker doesn't belong either...But Reef has not made the turn around in this franchise that I hoped he would and really he hasn't helped the team. [censored], get his numbers as JT will.....but there is more to the game than numbers.
  25. Of course Reef is better than Baker, but along with the dreadful play of the team..After Baker is positing solid 16PPG/7RPG numbers and probably should be comeback player of the year if they had such an award.
