  1. I saw him liking a couple tweets alluding to that too. Why would he leave money on the table?
  2. That one is false just looking at the @ handle. Here's the real one. Please don't trade for Siakam
  3. I can't quote or add any emojis as reactions for some reason @AHF Wanted to say that when dude in the vid above said JC can pass and dribble I stopped watching.
  4. I personally don't want someone at the 4 who'd be a longterm starter. Get me a vet stop gap who can contribute like Jae Crowder and groom JJ for that spot. Watching the Denver finals makes it obvious how the secondary pieces on a team should compliment the superstar's playstyle. MPJ and Jamal Murray are microwave scorers that benefit from Jokic's methodical playstyle. JJ's ability to push the pace, attack the rim, collapse on kickouts, and create for others from the pf position is a great release valve for Trae's explosive style. The biggest problem we've had with our frontcourt is that JC, Dre and CC can't pass/playmake for shit. He does more with the ball in this vid then JC did with his whole career. I wouldn't be surprised if that trade exception isn't used right off the bat either. You could potentially use it on top of one of CC or Dre to bring in a big difference maker at some point this year.
  5. This could be the David Lee trade for gsw that set up room for Draymond Green to shine. It depends on if JJ is ready. I will say that this is a lesson to not shop players publicly for consecutive years if you aren't committed to getting rid of them. The logic was always "JC is too good for what we're getting offered, so we'll wait and see". That approach only led to our cap situation getting worse and teams getting stingier. Same thing just happened with Beal. You got more for dumping Cam Reddish.
  6. Out of him, Deandre, and Cam, he's the only guy that actually plays to his size. Zero softness in his game.
  7. Chris Haynes is a clutch insider if I'm not mistaken. So either this is true or Trae wants it known in the organization that he wants something to change. My guess is Nate is fired before the season ends or JC is traded.
  8. Wow Ingram missed that same shot last time too to put the game away.
  9. Don't forget that Trae wanted Dejounte here. That tells me he's willing and eager to change his game to accommodate him. Trae seems to respond well to people he respects. His floor game improved dramatically when Nate became the HC and Lloyd was let go. It's only a matter of time before something clicks and he learns how to remain aggressive while playing off of DJM and everyone else. Yall should be happy that you get front row seats to the development of an all around offensive assassin.
  10. I don't know the guy so I can't say how he truly feels, but based on how he covers sports I can assume that he doesn't hate Trae, but is disinterested to the point that he doesn't do research so he just spouts basic talking points. He runs a debate show that is unapologetic sensationalism and has contributed to the devolution of sports conversation. I don't really care about his opinion honestly. He proved he either doesn't know much or doesn't actually study the sport he covers when Marc Cuban embarrassed him on live television.
  11. Mostly surface level analysis if we're being honest. Too many long bombs, bad defense, and turnovers. What Trae can really do to improve the offense is stop reseting the flow other guys create and give the ball up quicker when he can't get something. He gets in the way of Deandre, Aaron and Jalen by always coming back for the ball instead of playing off of them. I think it's growing pains and he'll be better as the season progresses.
  12. Skip doesn't like Trae so don't be surprised to hear him make narratives that Dejounte is the true #1 on this team. Especially in the playoffs.
  13. Cap management. The team at the time was ready for a playoff push while JC and Trae were still on cheap deals. They paid Gallo a non guaranteed contract that coincided with that cause they wanted vet talent. As long as they were under the cap it didn't matter. Once they got over the cap, bye bye Gallo and Kevin Huerter. Capela is probably gone once Deandre gets paid, unless the play on the court leads Ressler into paying the luxury tax.
  14. For sure. Some dudes are crazy and don't let your guard down around crazy.
  15. I get what you're saying, but it's still a 33 year old man knocking out a 23 year old kid. There's a line you don't cross with friends and family. Verbally and physically. I'm never going to expect my brother to try and knock me out if I don't deserve it. These aren't street dudes in a rough environment, they're multi millionaires. In a vacuum you're right, but the context surrounding this makes it shocking that it happened. Especially since Green is trying to become a respected media member in the future. That wasn't even a "let's fight" push, more like a get off of me push. If Poole did this I'd get it.
  16. These guys always refer to each other as "brothers" though. I have 5 brothers and the last time we ever put hands on each other was when we were just out of high school, never as adults. Poole didn't expect his "brother" to try and knock him out, thats why his guard wasn't up. If it was someone on another team or a stranger, I believe he would. NBA players in game have shoving matches and don't react like this.
  17. https://www.instagram.com/p/ChsIrSvu2PX/ I've been saying for the longest Dre needs a turn-around J in his package. With Gallo gone he's now our best source for mid-post offense. Glad to see him grinding.
  18. Oof I have patella issues. Sucks when you try to apply force or explosion or land. Hope it goes well.
  19. Need to see how he defends the perimeter and how his shooting looks. He's probably gonna play the 4 most likely.
