  1. I thought that do when i saw how he never plays. But i've never been a fan of his either. Seems like we would be really soft. Here's what Dirk said last year:
  2. You knew after that thread about Teague sucking that he would be big. Missed a lot of shots but i'm sure bud is fine with that as long as he is attacking and distributing. Brand still has it. Love the way Bud uses and doesn't over use him. He will be key in the playoffs. Great second half. Why the hell did the Lakers just keep running that play where Kobe tries to post up from the corner and makes wild passes. I swear they ran that same play 10 times in a row in the fourth. It worked great like once.
  3. I'll come to his defense. Just like the first 10 games at 20/11 were too small a sample to declare him a superstar so are the last 10 games to small to say he sucks. He has the keys to an entirely new offense and one that puts more responsibility on the PG than anything he's ever played. Like Bud says, teams have made adjustments on him. Everyone has bad games and bad stretches. It is far more likely that he improves from this bad stretch than it is he scores 6 points a game and shots 20% from 3.
  4. It was shocking to me that the Falcons could be the recipient of 7 turnovers and still barely win the game. The defense may be bad but what the hell is the offense doing? Of course, who cares at this point.
  5. Hey now. I have to say that Sharknado is probably the best film that i've ever watched 10 minutes of.
  6. Don't know why they'd want him. I see they are talking about trading varejo for him but surely the rockets would rather have milsap if offered. saw another trade sending Deng to Houston, Lin/brand/dmc to chicago and asik to atlanta. That's pretty damn good for us to get asik and only give us brand and dmc.
  7. I agree. Except we guaranteed him for next year. I guess we can still waive him? not sure. Hopefully a good trade will come along.
  8. I'm thinking there wasn't a lot of time spent on developing the concept....or script....or filming.
  9. So just for kicks i looked at Eastern Conference Centers. I checked at Yahoo but different sites have them listed differently. They have two categories for centers: Center or Forward / Center In the eastern conference they list 6 pure centers total (not just starting): Gortat, HIbbert, valenc...(toronto), faverani, mahinmi, and nazr Now there are a few in the FC category that we'd all be happy to put at center next to Al but really just a few: Noah, hawes, varejo The west has more centers which could be why they dominate the east but the point being that in the east there is probably less than a handful of starting calibre centers.
  10. Haven't had a Canadian beer in forever but i'll give that a try. Saw this yesterday and thought it was hilarious
  11. That's hilarious. Wonder how Marv feels about it. I believe you just click Share in youtube and copy and paste the url link it gives you there into your post. The regular url won't work but the share url should.
  12. Good for him. Would love to see him make the playoffs this year.
  13. He's interested in the timezone change. When you move from Alabama to Texas you set your clock back one second.
  14. You've touched on what may be the reality of the situation which is that the reason we have never put Al at the PF is that the coaches don't believe he would be effective there. His best offensive weapon is his mid range jumper which is easier to get open for against centers who are cheating off him. If we having a starting frontcourt of Asik and Horford then we don't have much offensive power inside. Just a theory. Can't say for certain since it's never really happened.
  15. Great maybe overstating it but you only have to look to last year's hawks to see him make a team better than they are. Last year's hawks had no business winning that many games. Anyway. My point is that i can't imagine the Bucks really want to make the playoffs.
  16. I think LD is a great coach. If the Bucks make the playoffs this year though I would fire him. That would be horrible for them.
  17. Actually Lou is pretty efficient. Or at least he has been. I think his last year in Philly he was one of the most efficient scorers in the league. I don't know enough about Jackson to say whether Lou is better or worse though. I think they are looking for a Harden type. Lou's offensive game is underappreciated I think.
  18. I don't disagree with you but the there's a big difference between really good centers and just big guys. The league is full of mediocre 7 footers who aren't taking their teams anywhere. There's only a few that are worth a damn. Definitely not enough to go around.
  19. I was happy that LD was able to get another gig this season. He deserves it and heck he may get a superstar in the draft. So happy we don't have Mike Brown. He's one of my least favorite coaches.
  20. that's interesting. Couldn't tell if it was a friendly chat but didn't look like it. I'll take it. I'm good with courtside folks getting noticed at a hawks game.
  21. I'll take Teague all day. If anything he's been too aggressive trying to force crazy shots and passes at times but i'll take it. He's taking over. I think people just don't like his demeanor.
  22. I think its hard to shake the stigma of the D league when you start there. He's still a young guy and showing he belongs. Wouldn't surprise me if he's in the league a long time a la Anthony Johnson.
  23. We lost to one of the elite teams really only because we missed layups and wide open shots. A loss is a loss but i prefer that to being unable to stop them or lack of effort.
  24. After seeing him last night i was pretty impressed.
