  1. i have no idea... i just copied and pasted from atdhe.fr website. when u click on the hawks game from taht website before the game actually starts, it gives u this link.
  2. when the time is right, click: http://broadband.nba.com/cc/playa.php?cont...201.asx&gid=068
  3. Quote: A Kobe for JJ and Wright works money wise in the tade machine. Kobe won't reject the deal because we didn't give up all of our young talent. Deal lakers wouldnt be up for it. if it only took JJ + change, im all for it. But i have a feeling that LAKERS want at the very least JJ + MARVIN/SMOOVE/HORFORD.
  4. Quote: HAHAHAHAHA It's almost like they scripted that one. Classic. thats what i was thinking. this is great!
  5. the way i see it, we are playing .500 ball against the best teams in the NBA (Mavs, Pistons, Nets, and Suns). I would like to see us play .500 ball against all the very good teams and play higher than .500 against the nonplayoff teams. that should get us a good spot in the playoffs.
  6. so im a LEGEND and a GOD. whoa, life is good. life is good.
  7. yeah, even when Smoove is not playing smart on offense... hes still playing hard on defense. w/ good coaching and work on Smoove's part, his offense will be just fine and we wont have to worry about him.
  8. after Joe Johnson by the end of the season. Who thinks this is a fair statement? He has a nice jumpshot and a good all-around game. He seems to push the ball up more than others (ex- LUE!!!!) after grabbing rebounds. Childress, i love his game. He always finds ways to get to the ball and score w/o demanding the ball. Marvin will be our #2 option. or atleast, should be our #2 option. Josh Smith is the highlight factory, as always. He'll amaze us with 1 play and shoot an airball 3 pt shot on the next play.
  9. yeah, marvin is playing well. same w/ childress.

  11. its great to get compliments from other teams. they are noticing that we are a team that is getting better. as long as we play hard every quarter, we should play .500 ball and make the 7th or 8th seed of the playoffs.
  12. Lue should only be playing against SMALLER PGs. Billups, Kidd, etc will post up on him time after time.
  13. yet it feels good to know that even when a player or two isint playing well, we can still come out w/ a victory. in the past, it seemed like everything had to go in our favor for us to pull out a victory. all players have to have a good night, the refs cant screw us over, our coaches make the right adjustments, etc. but now its a sense of relief knowing that the team can produce when it counts the most at the end of the game.
  14. the hawks should have more special offers this season and try to sell out the phillips every game. but yeah its been a while since we've had this much cheering for the hawks.
  15. As of right now, Miami doesnt scare me since WADE is out. our division is up for grabs but we do have depth in our favor.
  16. exodus, I LOVE YOU MAN!!!! thanks.
  17. As long as TMAC & YAO stay healthy and all the role players know their roles, like you said they can be serious contenders.
  18. Here is an asian's opinion on sushi restaurants in Atlanta. Many of them are FAKE/AMERICANIZED. *Cough* *Cough* RUSANS! Rusan, being close to Ga Tech has many Tech students going. If you have never tried Sushi, then i guess its a start. plus, its pretty cheap at Rusans. But if you want the real thing, i suggest you look elsewhere. For those who want the real deal, I suggest SUSHI MANIA. Its in Brookhaven at the shopping center at Colony and Peachtree Road. I think its a Kroger shopping center? The fish there is very fresh. its the best unknown SUSHI place in atlanta.
  19. i swear the packers are a very mediocre team... yet they win ball games. they seem to be the opposite of us. we find ways to lose and packers find ways to win. the difference between harrington and farve is that farve throws it when hes pressured and makes plays. harrington is so scared to make a mistake, he just takes a sack or throws it away.
  20. i feel that West's hustle and hard work wil rub off on the other players. Just seeing another teammate work hard will help all our players.
  21. nothing is guaranteed. but id say thats a pretty safe bet on your end.
  22. what a great addition to Emory's faculty staff.
  23. i agree completely. our special teams unit was horrible, but w/ Morten Anderson and Jerious Norwood are are decent now. Our defense looks suspect at times, but our defense isint the reason why we are losing games. Our offense has no production. We come out w/ FGs and not 7 points. We cant run so our play calling is restricted. Joey is only a great QB when he has plenty of time in the pocket. We never win the line of scrimmage battle. Other teams are always dominating us at the line of scrimmage. We have enough time to be a mediocre team. As in medicore, im talking about a 7-9 team or 8-8 team. Thats just my honest opinion.
  24. i would love to have KOBE here. However, i wouldnt want to trade places w/ Lakers and have the Lakers team (Kobe) in a ATL uniform and have our core players in a Lakers uniform. Then it'll be no different and Kobe wouldnt accept the trade. As a team, we would not be better. However, if you are to just give up 1 very good player, 1 promising player w/ great potential, and a future first... or something like that, i wouldnt mind.
  25. Quote: Have you seen some of the Sqawkers play? If so, could a Hawksquawk all-star team beat the US women's National Team? No, I have not seen the posters here play basketball. That being said, i dont think thats fair. At least, when i compare the worst NBA team against the allstar WNBA team, im comparing 2 PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL teams. Everyone whos playing that game, knows how to play basketball. The posters on hawksquawk dont get PAID to play basketball. So naturally, we arent focusing or practicing as much as WNBA players. However, suppose that we did have a hawksquawk tryout... everyone who makes the team gets paid $100,000 to quit his job and focus on basketball... we practice everyday w/ the guidance of a professional coach for a year. then, im pretty confident that we would be COMPETITIVE against WNBA players. Either we win or it'll be a close match.
