yeah, i sense that the Wizards are a playoff team w/ or w/o Arenas. On paper, Arenas makes them a better team but in reality they may be better w/o him (chemistry). It opens up things for Washington. Caron Butler is a stud!

the great thing about the NFL. The talent level for all teams is similar. A 9-7 team could easily have been 4-12 and vice versa. That is the great thing about football. the BROWNS making the playoffs? The Steelers barely making the playoffs and winning a SUPERBOWL? I love football because you are 1 big play away from CHANGING the entire game. And at the start of every season, all teams are in playoff contention. Its so competitive and all the teams match up well against each other.

i love it when we play TIGHT DEFENSE, teammates come to double team an opponent w/ the ball... and then the opposing player w/ the ball would throw it away or make a careless pass which is intercepted by one of our players... which then leads to a fast break! ive seen this sequence happen a good bit this season compared to the past few seasons. i dont see why we dont do it more often. play TIGHT D every minute of the game. In the NBA, many players/teams (and i mean MANY) pace themselves and save their energy for the 4th quarter. I say lets SCREW this mentality, use some our bench and play tight Defense 12 minutes every quarter. if we do that, we can catch some teams sleeping in the 3rd quarter.

1) BOSTON 2) DETROIT i dont like our chances in a 7 game series vs either one of those 2 teams. even w/ all healthy players, DETROIT is just a smart basketball team. They know how to finish games. And we dont match up well against BOSTON (but then again, who does?). If Boston's big 3 became the big 2, it wouldnt be so bad. = ) but any other team, i dont mind. I think we have a decent chance against all other teams in a 7 game series.

I thought id start a thread giving props to AJ. For the past several games, Ive seen him breaking down the defense and finding the open player for an easy basket. He also does a decent job of guarding bigger PGs and has picked a few pockets here and there. i know Acie's been having problems w/ injury, but i think AJ is the best PG on our team right now.
