  1. During my hiatus, eehem elsewhere.......there were 4 trades that I wanted us to make since we were rebuilding to get additional 2018 1st round picks: 1. With the Bucks before they traded for Bledsoe. 2. Denver for Faried 3. Pistons before they traded for Blake Griffin 4. Minny for their OKC 2018 pick. All these teams that would have salary cap issues this offseason but still wanting to upgrade their team and try to stay in the playoffs or make the playoffs.
  2. No no no. Our draft should not have ANY bearing on the likes of possible free agent signings the likes of Noel and heck no to Beasley. Atlanta has capspace so every middling FA will have all eyes on Atlanta.
  3. John Collins interview on 92.9 The Game https://929thegame.radio.com/media/audio-channel/john-collins-playing-bagley-will-open-my-game
  4. Sorry man. They may be NBA fans that live in Atlanta vs actual Hawks fan, there's a big difference.
  5. Yes he drafted Pau but traded Pau for Abdur-Raheem. So it could be that Memphis told the Hawks who to take on their behalf. Diaw didn't fit the style of play that the coach wanted. Chris Paul is still in the league too.
  6. I'm hearing a ton of noise. It's the season of rumors, misdirection, inuendos and lies. Can't wait for it ti end.
  7. We may argue and disagree but all in all, we are Hawks fans hoping the best for the team. (Or at least I hope so) It's not easy being a Hawks fan, takes someone special to be all in with this.
  8. If Ayton and Bagley are gone. Take Doncic. If he doesn't want to come over, trade with Memphis at #4+ or Dallas for #5+ and take Bamba. Hope that whatever 'plus' you get from 4 or 5 is enough to combine with #19 and move up. This thing has so many moving parts.
  9. The magic is at #6, they have Isaac, Gordon is a RFA - that's it. What position does these guys play?
  10. I don't think we trade back past 6 or 7. Look to Dallas at #5 maybe? But I don't see anything else they'd give us except a 2019 1st round pick. Chicago is at #7. They also have pick #22. Maybe they can trade Portis and #22 for a higher pick, say the Wiz at #15, and send us that pick?
  11. Babcock previously was an assistant coach for Erie of the G League, before that team became a Hawks affiliate. Pierce said player development will be Babcock’s primary responsibility with the Hawks. Pierce’s staff includes five assistant coaches. They are Melvin Hunt (lead), Marlon Garnett , Chris Jent, Greg Foster and Matt Hill. Jent is the only assistant retained from the staff of Pierce’s predecessor, Mike Budenholzer.
  12. Seems like we had this discussion before. My answer still the same...No.
  13. Some might even quit the Hawks. We are in for a very interesting offseason.
  14. Well...all I know is whoever we pick, let the meltdown commence.
  15. The one season that is allowing him to garner multiple several high dollar offers. Now you're being ridiculous - favoring Plumlee over Dedmon? C'mon man, don't be that guy. Plumlee started when Dedmon got injured, then as Dedmon was returning from injury. Even if he started a few games ahead of Dedmon after Dedmon was no longer limited, he still played fewer minutes than Dedmon in those games. Anyway lets just agree to disagree, don't want to hijack this thread further.
