Admin capstone21 Posted February 19, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted February 19, 2006 I missed when they announced it. He should have been in the Top 50 but I hope he made this list. Barkley said it and I whole heartedly agree that Nique is the most underrated player in the history of the NBA.

WraithSentinel
Wilkins is always getting respect from Charles,Magic, and Kenny. Just a matter of getting the rest of the pinheads in the media and whomever else votes for the HOF to recognize it.
Squawker24
Quote: People who know basketball, in the basketball world, understand what my place is in basketball history," said Wilkins, now the Hawks' vice president of basketball. "And I'm confident things will be fine this go-round. Do I think I was a first-ballot? Of course. Hopefully things will work out this time. Plainview1981
Nique sure is a cocky and slightly arrogant one.
uga2006
When your one of the best players ever and an 80's legend then you can be a little cocky. He isn't Freddie Mitchell.
Lascar78
he is one of the top 10 scorers in the NBA's history. He has a right to be cocky about deserving to be a hall of famer
Moderators macdaddy Posted February 20, 2006 Moderators Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 He's been in an awful situation of having to defend his status in the game. Jordan and Magic never have to tell people they were one of the best because people tell them that. Nique is the Rodney Dangerfield of nba superstars. The other players respect him and a lot of Atlanta fans do, but others just treat him like he was just a ball hog who couldn't win a title. The truth is he carried some really average teams on his back for years and then was traded to one of the worst franchises in the league to play while he was still a great player.
