Premium Member Diesel Posted June 25, 2002 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 25, 2002 Theo for Heywood/#11. With #11 we take Woods, Jeffries, Rush, or Stoudamire. Diesel's 2nd Trade of the Day.... Toni/CC to San Antonio for Smitty. Not a blockbuster but good for both teams. Experience for Experience.
Guest
A much more reasonable senario today. However, Lets keep Ratliff through this season if he averages 3+bpg, which isn't unreasonable, he will bring in much more trade value next offseason. Lets not forget that next year we have 3 ist rounders. Great trade bait to move up to a picks 1 thru 3. I really dont see very many immediate impact players, except for J.Williams and T.Prince. Woods &Wagner will be a stars someday but no time soon. However, A more mature Chris Marcus with his size will become an impact player. Also there is the potential to get L.Odom next offseason. Marcus/SAR/Odom/Slim/JT not to mention Leon Smith & Dion each still needs to develop but the potential is there Kukuc should be traded for a 1st rd pick and a player that could be put on waivers. Getting cap space and potential. Smitty would be great but the future is dim. We have to build for a championship. That means no drastic moves. In 2004 All the players will show their potential and it will be the Hawks Celtics Pacers and Nets battling for the East
hds428
Honesly, I liked t.m.dawg's proposal better. Losing Crawfords ludicrous contract is the only real diff between this one and that, and there was somethin else about his scenario...Hmmm high draft pick, check, Smitty, check, umm...Oh yeah, we don't lose Theo!
