From the Oakland Tribune today:

Pistons get:

Danny Fortson

Adonal Foyle

#10 Pick in this year's draft

Warriors get:

Cliff Robinson

Future #1 Pick

Pistons get some much needed rebounding help for Ben. Plus, a legit center and shot-blocker. The Warriors get an ending contract, allowing them to sign an experienced free agent in the off-season...key word, "experienced." This is a sophmore team desperate for some leadership. The deal abides by the CBA, and works financially."

OK. This is interesting to me. I'm thinking about the Warriors want of an experienced player. Theo is on the market in my estimation. We could trade him for something in GS as part of a three way.

We get back Damp... And they send Fortson to Seattle for Barry.

In the end, we'd have:

Barry/JT/BIg Dog/SAR/Damp as a starting 5.

to ones that address our most dire needs. ie. ball handling SG/SF or a real PG.

All these trade proposals for untested talent is nice and all. But the reality is that we have a good solid core of talent. We are missing that one player. We have a good bench and a good starting lineup. We need someone who can be a leader and can help run the team on the floor. That's either a semi-vet PG or a vet SF/SG with good handling skills.

All the talk of Jalen Rose is on target, as is the talk of Eddie Jones. Someone in that mold would turn us around fairly quickly IMO.
