PlayaPat420
IF a Big Dog for Jalen Rose trade could be worked out, we should do it. He like to play the point, he's big and can score. Eventhough Chicago doesn't want him there, do you think they'ld be dumb enough to trade him for Big Dog. a lineup of theo/sar/newble/jt/rose is much better than theo/sar/dog/jt/wilks...newble...dickau, any of them. Premium Member Diesel Posted January 16, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 16, 2003 That would be good too. However, Krause is a Penny Pincher. At one time, he would have taken Big Dog...I think he wants Rose out so that Jay Williams can develop. The fact that Big Dog is a 20/7 guy might be enough to get them to do it? I would love to have Rose. We could play Rose as the 2 or the 3... and give him PGing responsibilities.
Prometheus
If Krause is still upset with Jalen I think something like this could happen. Atlanta trades: PF Chris Crawford (4.8 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.2 apg in 7.6 minutes) C Nazr Mohammed (3.8 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 0.1 apg in 11.1 minutes) SF Glenn Robinson (20.5 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 3.0 apg in 37.5 minutes) Atlanta receives: SF Eddie Robinson (5.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 18.5 minutes) SF Jalen Rose (22.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.4 apg in 40.5 minutes) PF Etan Thomas (4.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.0 apg in 11.6 minutes) Change in team outlook: +2.9 ppg, +0.1 rpg, and +1.7 apg. Chicago trades: PF Corie Blount (2.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.8 apg in 13.3 minutes) SF Eddie Robinson (5.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 18.5 minutes) SF Jalen Rose (22.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.4 apg in 40.5 minutes) Chicago receives: PF Chris Crawford (4.8 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.2 apg in 5 games) C Nazr Mohammed (3.8 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 0.1 apg in 14 games) SF Glenn Robinson (20.5 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 3.0 apg in 33 games) Change in team outlook: -1.1 ppg, +0.3 rpg, and -2.5 apg. Washington trades: PF Etan Thomas (4.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.0 apg in 11.6 minutes) Washington receives: PF Corie Blount (2.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.8 apg in 20 games) Change in team outlook: -1.8 ppg, -0.4 rpg, and +0.8 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED I think we would also have to send a 2nd round pick, preferably Orlando's to Washington, but an expiring contract for a guy who stuck on the bench is not a bad deal for the Wiz. Eddie Robinson and Newble platooning at the 3 would be our weakest spot, but a Jalen-Terry backcourt would work out pretty well.
