I'm not so sure about that. In fact, I think MOST pro scouts feel he lacks the athleticism to be a top flight NBA PG. I think that is why he would have slipped into the 2nd round had we not made the trade to get him. I know I have heard more scouts question his ability to make it than I have heard say he will make it.

Personally, I think DD has a CHANCE to be a quality PG but I have to say that I am concerned about his lack of quickness. If he starts knocking down the J with regularity, it will certainly improve his stock in my eyes but currently, his ability to see the floor is the only thing that really impresses me so far.

I know that most rookie PGs struggle in this league and I think it is FAR too early to give up on DD but I certainly wouldn't bank on him being this franchise's PG of the future.
