Don't get me wrong..

I don't agree with you when you challenge BK's drafting.

I am the one who was for one of those PGs instead of

another Sf.

My point is that you can't exclude those things that he

did that were good moves because you don't like the fact

that he didn't draft Duhon or Deron or Roy.

He still drafted Smoove and it was said about Smoove that

he could be the biggest bust in the draft.

He still took JJ when it was said by a lot of people

that he gave up too much or JJ wasn't worth the money.

All the sudden you want to make those 2 moves disappear

and talk about everything else, I don't think you can

do that.

Now, about the rest of the team.. I think you have to

look back over the team at the end of every year and

evaluate everything:

Win/Losses, Capspace, Player value, team needs, coach...

When you consider GMing in that bubble, I think that

there are some areas that BK needs to fix, but the hardest

areas are in a very workable place.

A coaching change and maybe one big and we might have

a team that can win some game up into the second round of

the playoffs.

Right now, I think we're similar to the Raptors under

Butch Carter. Under the cap with a lot of good players..

and one possible superstar. That team went to the ECF and

lost to the sixers.

I think we are better than some believe...

We've missed out on some good players..

But.. We're better than some believe.

You don't agree, but you wanted one of the pg's?

How am I excluding them? I am probably one of Smith's biggest fans, and I love JJ. I'm just saying BK has messed up WAY WAY WAY more times than he's made a good move.

So the one pick he got right was a steal at 17. But he's BLOWN all the picks that SHOULD have been good players. He's BLOWN a #5 and #2, and took the lowest rated prospect of the prospects available at #6, and Chill is good but he's proven he isn't as good as Iggy or Deng.

I'm not doing that, I absolutely applaud BK for getting JJ. But he's failed in MANY more times than he's came through, something that 99% of other GM's wouldn't have done.

I agree, but it wouldn't even matter if BK had made the right HIGH pick in the last 3 drafts. Blowing 3 straight high picks in the draft is disaster drafting however you want to put it. Again, I love Childress but he still took the worst of the three available, and Childress was rated below the others at the time also.

Under the cap? The Speedy/Lo/AJ acquisitions have killed the cap that we had. We now will have about 5-6 million in cap next season, which is nothing significant, other than for a trade or resigning our own players.
