That doesn't jive with the reports that Atlanta and Minnesota signed off on the deal. I think it's more likely that PHX is dragging its feet waiting to see if they really want to do it or if they can get more out of it.

Even though I wouldn't put it past Steve Belkin to do this, my guess is, whoever said this on ESPN radio is making it up. They don't want to say that Phoenix is the team that backed out of the deal.

Yeah, if this was said, then I think this is just a way of putting the blame of the deal not getting done off on the Hawks. I don't think Steve Belkin can kill a deal. If this deal isn't made, it is clearly going to be on the part of the Suns, not the Hawks.
