Premium Member Diesel Posted April 4, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted April 4, 2003 Chicago Tribune columnist Sam Smith "Next step in the great plan: Get a small forward. That's acquisition priority No. 1 this summer for the Bulls, and the belief is the main targets will be Sacramento's Hedo Turkoglu, Golden State's Mike Dunleavy and Memphis' Shane Battier." Is there any way they'd take one slightly used 20 ppg Big Dog for Jalen?
Guest
The people they mentioned are all more athletic than big dog, but of course no where near his shot and scoring ability...maybe they'd go for it...
SwatDatStuffTheo
Why!? I wouldn't trade Big Dog for Rose, we should look into getting rid of Big Dog for picks and expiring contracts. Rose plays with no heart and has 4 years left on his deal (Dog only has 2) I think they would want Dunleavy, so they would probably ship off Crawford (replaces Arenas) and Rose (needs to go). Salaries don't match, but that's what Chicago needs to do. 1: Jason Williams 2: *Jarvis Hayes 3: Mike Dunleavy 4: Tyson Chandler 5: Eddy Curry That's a good starting lineup. Dunleavy/Hayes will never end up demanding the big bucks when their deals run out, they don't have that type of potential. It's got shooters, and fundamentals and talent. Wish the Hawks could put together a young team like that......
DJ_Money
They'd also have the youngest and worst defensive team in the league. I don't care if you set Chicago back 5 more years, but they might.
