His salesmanship ability seems to be exactly what this franchise is missing. It definitely looks like, on the surface, that he will be able to sell this team to the fans and players. It's interesting that he wants to be the front man of the franchise. I mention some of the same things in my piece (about McDavid being suppresed and screwed by Perot, Jr.), but it's good to hear people speak in very good terms about this prospective owner. When Shareef and Robinson and Terry are gone then you get excited.You can't move much with so many bad contracts and guys that will want bad contracts. TheDude Posted April 9, 2003 Report Share Posted April 9, 2003 the hawks are not in that bad of shape...we do not have bad contracts...these players aren't getting paid more than they are worth in my book...especially in the trade market..but i do feel that these players may not be the best fit together..so we just need to make a couple fo trades or maybe just one(bigdog)... no need to call in the cleaners, we just need some adjustments...
