KB21
There appears to be a strong possibility that this will be our GM/Head Coach combo. Mike Dunleavy will come on as the general manager of the Hawks, and the Hawks will hire Paul Silas to be their new head coach. Seems like Lon Cooper, Paul Silas's agent and the guy who negotiated the sale of the Hawks to McDavid, has really pumped Silas up to McDavid. Omni
I like the idea of Paul Silas as head coach. I think he is a good motivator, and that is exactly what the Hawks need. Someone to get his players to play to their abilities. Don't know much about Dunleavy as an executive. He wasn't GM when he was in Portland was he? KB21
Dunleavy was the GM in Milwaukee from 1992-1997 I believe. During that time, he did draft Glenn Robinson and trade for Ray Allen in a draft day trade.
Premium Member Diesel Posted May 17, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted May 17, 2003 The trade was Kittles for Allen! There was also something with either Voshon Leonard or Micheal Finley?
KB21
The trade was Marbury for Allen. Voshon Leonard was drafted by Dunleavy in the 2nd round.
