Speedy Claxton Gonzales was supposed to be healed or

released on medical grounds by Christmas or maybe by

New Years. That time is now at hand. Any one know

if he's almost well or almost ready to retire?

Other players, sore and injured, should have enough time

to improve healthwise to be about ready to go by Jan. 1.

On a side note, Acie Law IV is still hurting. Meanwhile,

his substitute, Mario West continues to improve and

impress. He's a keeper.
