Chris Paul & Deron williams- two great point guards the Hawks had a chance to get but NOOOOO. Why should they draft someone they really need when they can draft someone else who is still trying to find themselves. I'm getting sick all over again watching the Skills Competition.

Beating a dead horse here. Would we trade Marvin for Paul or Deron straight up? Of course! It won't happen though. Marvin isn't too bad of a player though. I cringe whenever he tries to go to the hoop, but he has a really nice jump shot. Plus, he is pretty young. I really don't think this is as big of a deal as the Shelden pick. Marvin for Chris Paul is a good trade for us. However, Roy for Shelden would be a HUGE rip off for us. Marvin was a huge talent coming out of UNC. Shelden was just a dumb pick, but he is gone now(thank god).

i love how we finally get a good pg (debatable top 10, def top 15) and now people keep starting posts about paul/deron

yeah, those guys are good, but if we got them we wouldn't have marvin or horford or bibby

so it's marvin+horford+bibby for paul/deron...would u make that trade today? if u would, then get over it because it's the past

So your telling me we wouldnt have got a pick in Sheldens Draft or Horfords Draft cmon lets get real. If we Had Chris Paul it would have took him a bit of time before he carried us remeber he got hurt one season. Marvin and heck even bibby will never be the players that PAUL OR DERON ARE EVER.
