dickaufan12
The Hawks soundly defeated Washington today. Click below for the box score. http://www.nba.com/media/celtics/03SL_BoxScore_Session1b.pdf > http://www.nba.com/media/celtics/03SL_BoxScore_Session1b.pdf Looks like Travis Hansen was a little off. I'm happy with Dickau's performance, but no one else probably is.
TheDude
i'm a dickau fan but i don't like his 2:2 to/assist ratio..scoring was nice but hopefully things get better on the ratio.. diaw has quite a few assists which is nice...
dickaufan12
I know 2:2 isn't good, but it was the first game of the week. Things will get better.

Hawksman
Yea, I think Dickau is growing. I know he will be a solid player. I loved the way Diaw played today. He did the little things to help you win. He is going to be awesome. Hansen did well, and we had some sleepers. Adam and Thornton did very well. Blunt91
At least Hansen showed he played defense with his 2blocks in the game.
Traceman
"The Washington Wizards never knew what hit them. Beginning with Elton Tyler's blocked shot which led to a Charles Smith basket and ending with a pair of Travis Hansen free-throws, the Atlanta Hawks (1-0) went on a 32-0 run from 5:47 of the third quarter to 7:19 of the fourth quarter to break open a close game and run away with an 82-50 win over the Wizards (0-1) at the Reebok Pro Summer League in Boston. Atlanta's bench was the difference as Hansen, Damon Thornton, Tommy Adams and Chris Porter combined for 26 points during Atlanta's run. The Hawks' reserves almost doubled the output of their starters (52-30) and outscored the Wizards' reserves 52-10. The Hawks gave a preview of what was to happen later, outscoring the Wizards 19-6 in the second quarter to turn a 14-13 lead after one, into a 33-19 halftime advantage. Most of the damage was once again done by the Hawks' bench which scored 11 of their team's 19 points. The Wizards were their own worst enemies in the quarter connecting on just 2 of 13 shots from the floor (15.4 percent). The Wizards went on a run of their own to start the second half. Kwame Brown hit a pair of free-throws, a 19-footer and a layup to cut the Hawks lead to 35-31 with 5:47 left in the third. But those would be the last points the Wizards scored for almost a full quarter, by which time they trailed by 36 points thanks, again, to the Atlanta bench. Adams led the Hawks with 12 points while Jarvis Hayes and Juan Dixon led the Wizards with 13 points each. Brown chipped in with 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds." Lascar78
Does anyone have a pic of Dickau with the trimmed hair? I don't know if I'll even reckognize him lol It was an off night for DD, hopefully he can rebound. Summer games mean nothing as far as how well you will do, but they can give players alot of confidence. DD didn't get too much time last year so he needs all the experience he can get
dickaufan12
I've been trying to find a pic of the same, too. Haven't seen anything recent. There will probably be a summer league photo album on Hawks.com after all of the games are over.

dickaufan12
That was the first thing I thought when I saw the picture: looks like college. Maybe it will bring back some of that game.
