GA State vs Alabama

The newly minted Panthers from Ga State University (1AA) will do battle with the defending 1A Champion Alabama Crimson Tide on Thursday evening on ESPNU. Coach Bill Curry's Panthers will have to do their best to keep up with the Bama juggernaught. Ga State has already assured themselves a winning record in their first year of football competition...but this challenge will be mighty.

Not bad for year #1.

Star Jackson (I think he might spell it Starr) made a cameo in the 4th quarter and he didn't look like he wanted to be there. From heraled Alabama QB recruit to 3rd string QB at GSU. His star has fallen. Alabama wanted to change his position for good reason it appears.
