Anyone else watching Sy's first game?

When professional scouts say "He's good" why should I doubt them?

Seriously? Look at how many busts there are in the first round... I think its pretty ridiculous to think that just because a scout liked someone that the default assumption is that they are a good player. I had no reason to think that Sy was a good player when the Hawks drafted him. He hasn't given me any reason since then to make me reassess that.

What I seen in Summer League, he had talent and could be a PG in the NBA. Let's wait till he fully gets acclimated to the NBA style.

His team in france wasn't particularly good, hist stats were bad, and his didn't think he was good enough to start. No other team thought it was worth flying over to workout. I'd need to see a whole lot more before I would be anything close to a "believer".
