I think that is due to a lack of confidence in his speed and inexperience more than anything else... If he played 30 minutes a game, I bet you'd see a lot more of that. He uses his shot to get in a rhythm and build confidence. If he's only in for a few minutes at a time, that won't happen. As time goes on and he learns the NBA game more, you'll see him be more balanced.

He has not played CONSISTENTLY enough to determine that. LD probably told him his role is only shoot unless is a wide open shot - pass to Lou or somebody else. He is prolly hesitant because he is thinking too much about running LD's plays instead of just playing instinctively.

He's our new "Stinger".

Nothing wrong with that - instant offense off the bench - it would be nice to have a quality "shoot second" hard-nosed PG to go with him on the 2nd unit.

Shooters shoot, dont do much of anything else. Their there to stretch the floor, that is all.

Bingo. Jenkins is still a rookie and only plays maybe 10 minutes a game. He has almost no confidence right now and NBA experience. Once he gains some experience and gets a few more years of play under his belt, I believe he'll turn into a great asset for us. Right now though he is just a rookie that doesn't want to make the typical rookie mistakes...

If he has any type of space, he's knocking that shot down about 60% of the time, no matter where the shot is located. As Nique says about Korver, you can't leave him open. The same applies to Jenkins.He also shows a step back jumper in which to create space between he and the defender. And has a nice head fake to get the defender in the air so that he can take a side dribble to get his shot off. A veteran guy like Kyle Korver can and will help him become a better offensive player, especially with his ability to find that open space on the court to make himself available for a pass to come his way.The ball handling is shaky, so he shouldn't be used in a lot of pick and roll situations or in situations in which he's trying to create for others. If he gets the ball, I want him shooting it, not going PnR or ISO ( even though he probably could do that over time ).
