Moderators AHF Posted July 31, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted July 31, 2013 (edited) Jennings is a better perimeter shooter than Teague but the key will be whether he gets his head on straight. He will have enough interior talent that he doesn't need to play like he did in Milwaukee (where I don't think he had to play that way). The best things Jennings should have going for him are Mo and Billups being voices he should respect who both could influence him in positive ways (unlike being paired with Monta Ellis who could only be a terrible influence on the court). Josh is obviously a historically bad jump shooter so how he plays is also key. Josh backing down small forwards is attractive and Monroe can at least play a little in the high post but the spacing for the frontcourt looks to be atrocious. Drummond can only play near the basket and that is the only place you want Smoove to play so how is that going to work? These are some high risk gambles of guys changing their playing patterns after years of stubbornly playing low BBIQ offense. The range of possibilities for this team seems enormous - from high lottery pick to playoff up and comer. Edited July 31, 2013 by AHF
