You know, even though he's from San Antonio, he does seem like he's got a New York kind of attitude. This seems like a perfect fit. Not sure how he'll go with Woody though.

They've had their eye on Ivan for awhile now. Allegedly he's been holding out for mini-MLE offers but now that guys like DeJuan Blair are taking vet-min contracts they're expecting Ivan's asking price to come down. Metta-Ivan-Kenyon would be fun to watch against other teams. I think their ability to swing an offer will depend heavily on whether they foresee Bargs as a starting PF or as a steady backup C, the latter requiring a healthier option behind Amar'e (starting PF) and KMart.

funny I've always thought if not Atlanta Ivan seems like he'd be great in New York. They love tough players ala Anthony Mason and Oakley. New Yorkers would fall in love at first sight.
