The fall of Teague

To be fair on this, I don't think Teague is worthless. He is just an average PG (above-average physical attributes; below average mental game; run of the mill shooting and passing skills) who is being counted on to be a building block for this team. Whether too much is being asked of him and whether he occupies too prominent a position in our payroll are the biggest questions once you get over the fact that he isn't going to maximize his talents because of his mentality (timidness, passing instincts, defensive instincts, etc.).

At the beginning of this season Teague was knocking down open 3s and more importantly taking the ball to the rack. That's his game. If he's not penetrating he's darn near worthless.Finishing at the rim is always a challenge for Teague. That floater can be ugly.

Yep. And this is our offense. If the 4 and/or 5 aren't pulling their defenders away from the basket then getting the ball to the rack isn't easy. To me this is why going from Antić to Ayón has had a much bigger impact on the offense than going Horford to Antić.

Teague's shooting has not been good that's for sure.
