Gray Mule
THIS CAN BE VIEWED AS BOTH A CURSE AND A BLESSING. There are a lot of free agents out there. There is a limited amount of $$ to entice these free agents to play for any team. The more of these Max and near Max deals there are out there, the more the $$$ dries up and all the other free agents are left out in the cold. After a few of these wild deals, using up all that $$$, don't you suppose everyone will want bunches and bunches! But wait. If these players are going to take all that money, what about the rest of us? We're still professional ball players and this is what we do for a living. Players who resent these star players for getting paid so much and causing them to have to play for a lot less than they expected can and will make life hard for these guys, don't you think? Admin
Agreed. However, if you're Utah you're not attracting FA's so you almost have to match. For Cleveland, are they planning on trading Waiters since they view Wiggins as a 2? Doubt Waiters would take kindly to being made a 6th man (even though that's where he should be). ETA: oh, and inb4thamove. @Dolfan23 you slippin' Haha @kg01 I was at lunch. I'm in the central time zone and if you bitches sneak something in during that time there's not much I can do about it. hazer
That is a kuhRAZY offer for Hayward. I wouldn't match if I was Utah, and let Cleveland choke on it.
