Gray Mule
Atlanta just gained 1\2 game on Toronto as they lost to Charlotte. They are now 24-11. Chicago, who everyone over at ESPN knows, will win the east is only 2 1\2 games behind in second place. It must be so nice to be Chicago and have this leading sports network in your corner and have them completely ignore that one trick pony known as the Hawks. Ah, well. Enjoy the ride as long as it keeps going!
MaceCase
Charlotte was 10-22 with Al Jefferson, 4-2 without him. Are they having a similar renaissance to Detroit post inefficient frontcourt player? Thing to be wary of, the bottom of the East is trending up while the top is faltering a bit. Friday may be a great game.
High5
Raptor fans are a bipolar bunch, but they're souring on Lou at the moment: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1365501 Someone was even upset enough to post this: I'd rather have Salmons now.
MaceCase
Raptor fans just have a serious inferiority complex. They feel far more comfortable when their team is doing bad than winning.
Plainview1981
Lou Williams is a one trick pony. He's never been good in the playoffs either. 37 career playoff games and he scores 10.8 PPG on 36% shooting.

MrMeltdown
Al Jefferson's efficiency was not bad at all, better than Kemba's. Kemba may need to be the guy in order to get his 30, but it is great when they are winning. So, nothing to complain about.

Plainview1981
Just watching Inside the NBA and they're trying real hard to not talk about this team.

Richesly
Before this year, the first seed is always talked about. Not when it's the Hawks though.
asdogg
To be honest , I feel the Hawks are getting a lot of love ... On a daily basis NBA.com has one or two positive Hawks articles ...tweets from Lang Whitaker and Sekou show Hawks love ...espn is getting on the act with Stein giving us number one on power ranking and a slew of videos and podcasts and tweets proclaiming us to be legit ...NBA TV with Ernie and Kenny even shaq are showing Hawks support ...furthermore since TNT and NBA studios are based in ATLANTA it seems there is some homerism brewing with "the Starters" and NBA TV crew. In fact I have not read or seen anything saying we are not real except one or two isolated low or no impact journalist ..who only come to attention because they are mentioned in this forum .. Either way it seems the mainstream media is starting to believe on the other hand the casual fan will take time
MrMeltdown
We are getting more than enough love. I am more concerned about keeping it up we have Detroit and Washington still to go this week. That is a hot team and a good playoff bound team. It is hard being good. JETSET
Its good to see detroit and charlotte rolling. They should add some competition for the bottom two seeds in the east. Hopefully, they can both get there.
