What accountability?  If we lost then it wouldn't have mattered.  Basically they say 'oops my bad'

 

There is no change to the already finished game.  The accountability is the ability to pressure the league for changes in the future.  This gives people like Mark Cuban extra leverage who want to ensure the refs are performing and allows the public to participate in that debate with more information and ammunition.

This should also help the Hawks tonight as well. Eliminating those moving screens will be detrimental to the Wizards' offense. They're too used to doing it every time for them to stop. That alone will disrupt their offensive flow.

It certainly gives Bud and the rest of the Hawks more ammunition to go after the refs or to set the stage before the game.

 

Before game:  Calls to league office telling them the refs need to crack down on moving screens.  Hopefully this results in one of those memos directing the refs to watch for them.

 

In pre-game - Bud:  "Did you see that report on last game's two minutes on the moving screens the NBA said were missed calls?  Watch those. They've been missed a lot in this series and the Wizards aren't going to stop doing them unless they are called.  You don't need to be on that report."
