Gray Mule
Falcons never do what they are supposed to do. Raiders were favored at home. Atlanta forgot. They actually scored in the red zone. Once, a completed pass on a deflection. The running game came back and made the play action passes work. Several to a big tight end. Jones ankle gave out just before the end of the game. Still, the Falcons, in spite of their new speed, are looking for QB pressure and sacks and not finding much success. Braves and Falcons both victorious today ! Hard to believe, but true.
Thomas
We looked good on offense in the fourth quarter for the first time in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. On a different note even the announcers mentioned our woes of defensive penalties on third down giving the opponents free first downs seems to be a habit so we fans aren't the only ones begging Dan to clean that stuff up. That alone could help us us win a few right there. Anyway, very nice to get a win and especially on the road. Also, wondering why the NFL lets that field be the issue it is with the slippery dirt from the baseball infield out there. The only one like that in the NFL. Weird home field advantage because they are used to it. Make them spend the money to convert it back and forth for whatever game is being played. Matt Ryan looked like he was tip toeing on ice when he was dropping back on it. We even decided against a field goal attempt early in the game because of it.
Moderators macdaddy Posted September 19, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted September 19, 2016 I thought that first quarter pass interference was bogus too. I actually have a lot of faith in Ryan and it's nice to see him have a good game. Still seems like he throws behind every receiver.
