Trade of the Day 12/7

Dennis/Bazemore  to Utah for Ricky Rubio/Joe Johnson and Alec Burks.

 

Right now.. the Jazz hold the 7th Spot in the West.  Rubio has crapped out.   Johnson is injured.  Burks is not the best of talents at the SG.   In this trade, Utah gets Help immediately.   I think Baze is better than both Joe and Burks.   I believe that Schro is better than Rubio.  Quin Snyder knows both Baze and Dennis and could probably reach them and the transition won't be hard.  What we get is shorter contracts.   We also get to let Joe go out as a Hawk.  We also solidify our spot on the tank train.   Rubio is here Next year to help whoever we draft to be PG.  Joe's contract is up and we get money in the cap (flexibility).   Burks gets one more chance to prove himself and his contract will be worth a lot.

Utah gets a shot at this year.

Atlanta gets a better future.
