The Bucks traded Greg Monroe and a future first round pick to the Suns for Bledsoe, which was a similar package that they discussed with the Hawks for Schröder. Schröder signed a four-year, $70 million extension with the Hawks in 2016. that would have been stupid considering they are a playoff team. i call BS!! Moderators AHF Posted February 1, 2018 Moderators Report Share Posted February 1, 2018 Why BS? We obviously didn't take whatever they were offering. I don't have any reason to doubt they picked up the phone and pitched us. We didn't think the offer was good enough.
Blunt91
Didn't we try to Trade Teague to the Bucks a few years back? I think we wanted Middleton and they did not want to give him up.
Alex
Yeah I don’t understand what’s BS about it either. I am sure the Bucks asked if Dennis was available and the Hawks said yes or no. If, yes then I imagine Milwaukee floated some sort of package and the Hawks said no thanks.
Wurider05
I was saying BS due to the fact that they actually thought they would get Dennis for what they offered. With them being a playoff team that would not have been a good pick.
