I love 'learning' something.  Part of the adjustment to the NBA, the slight variances in the ball.  Why Euro's take time to adjust year one (especially with their handle) and college players struggle to adjust to long range shooting.  FYI, the NBA ball consistency standards are stricter.

I know NBA players have always said paying in International competition is an adjustment to the ball.

It is a good thing Tom Brady plays football, he would not be able to play in the NBA with their tighter restrictions.
