Premium Member Diesel Posted June 15, 2022 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted June 15, 2022 Do you think that Joe Johnson and Trae Young would be Lethal? Joe's size and defense next to never Scared Trae! Ice Trae and Joe Cool!! The question is... Would Trae stop Joe's Iso Game? Joe said, give me a call.. I'm not retired yet. I think Joe's iso game becomes a situational tool rather than the backbone of the offense in that scenario. And we know Joe was very successful without the iso. Can you imagine how he would look getting passes from Trae with Nique drawing defensive attention? Here was Joe before the iso - lethal efficiency: 47.8% from 3pt range...

Al Horford never played PF.

Who cares if Al played center when matched up with Josh Smith in the frontcourt? Josh was never going to be able to play center. That left Al to man the spot. Horford always was well suited to play the PF position and would have been very successful doing so here if you swapped Josh for Deke or Cap or something like that. Horford was versatile enough to be able to play either PF or C depending on the players around him. He is a very viable choice at PF just like Tim Duncan would be a viable choice at center even though he frequently started games at power forward with a true center next to him.
