Actually, the Magic were looking for a PG so they could reduce Armstrong to bench minutes. I think Jacque will get some good minutes, I'm happy for him. He's a class player.

Word out of ORL is that Vaughn signed a one year deal, for the minimum (about 650K)

Either he reaaaally wanted to play for a contender, or everyone said "We'll pay you the minimum for one year, that is all..."

I have a question that I have been wondering about. Why is it that a good PG like Vaughn can't get a long term deal or a deal that's more than the vetran's minimum? How can a guy like Brevin Knight(I like Brevin,this is no derespect)Who is no better of a player to me than Jacque get a big contract for 4 years 20million and he is more undersized than Vaughn. Is it that Cleveland was stupid in giving Knight that kind of money or is Brevin better at making decisions on the floor than JV.

a number of years ago....Now Brevin wouldn't get 6 million
