cyman3
he is currently 3rd leading scorer, 1st-tied w/ Joel in rebounding, and 2nd leadin assist man on our team... if he came off the bench next year, i can see him bein a serious contender for the 6th man award... cant u? Gray Mule
Don't want to "Sell the farm" to have the money to pay him, but, if he comes at a reasonable price, I agree that we should re-sign him. He can be a difference maker. He has been that since he came here. Hawks need a big, wide body, Tractor Trailey type, player. We get run over by too many teams when they go inside like they did in the first half last night. Also, I am wondering. Any chance that Atlanta might possibly, somehow, again without "Selling the farm," trade for Battier? I would love to see him here. That's three things on my wish list. {If they don't cost too much} 1- Re-sign Bob Sura 2- A BIG inside player 3- Battier Great comeback last night, by the way. kegg66
He reminds me of a modern day version of Rex "the Wonderdog" Chapman.
Snaggle
Sura is a turnover machine. He makes bad shot choices and for all the good he does he blows it with stupid plays. He can't find the open man most of the time and passes to a select few players. He reminds me of my daughter's team when she played at the 4th grade level by passing to only players they liked. Let some other team have Sura, we don't need him!
OGRat
The other knock on Sura is that he is injury prone. Maybe its a testament to his style of play. Also, it strikes me as interesting that it took him being on a bottom feeding team to shine. He couldn't even get off the bench in Detroit. I think of Sura as a solid role player, and I think that he can contribute to the team, but when you factor in his TOs, FG%, lack of durability, and age, we should not pay too much for him.
