What would Houston want for Cuttino Mobley?

Since they have Moochie Norris do you think we might could

lowball Houston into getting him?What would we have to give

up?Nobody here has been Cuttino....but he is a 21PPG scorer

and can play a couple of different positions.

We sure as hell could win with that lineup!After Mobley has been

bad mouthing Rudy T maybe Houston wants to trade him?They

have that forgien dude/Griffin/Norris already so he is kinds expendable

to them.

Cuttino can play SF on occassion, but he isnt very good at it. He cannot play the point to save his life. I have seen him more than anyone here and can assure you of that. Hes a very good SG though and I would love to have him, but Houston wont be trading him. They dont have a good second string SG to replace him with, and Francis really isnt a good SG either. They have Moochie and Maddux, but both are PGs and dont have SG skills. The cat isnt going anyplace unless they get a SG in return.

I think it will be interesting to see what transpires this week as Steve Francis and the Rockets are supposed to meet to talk about a contract extension. Steve was extremely upset that the Rockets chose to take Yao Ming instead of dealing the pick for a player that could actually help them, and I think he may demand the moon and the sun from the Rockets. I don't think Francis will sign anything until he sees if Ming is going to be all hype or real substance.

If the Rockets make a move to sign Rashard Lewis as well, it wouldn't surprise me to see them move Mobley in a deal. Lewis can play 2G, and is really more of a 2G than a SF.

CM isn't that good at all when you think bout it he doesn't have that much talent at anything only a decient scorer.

We need a 3rd option and he fits the bill.I only suggest

getting him if we lowball Houston and try and get him

with Dion and some other guy but I wouldn't give up

JT/SAR/Theo/Dickau(our only REAL backup PG)to

get him.

Either way,we need more offensive talent.And if we don't get

it...reality is gunna set in on everyone including you Mike when

the season starts and we start losing right off the bat.

not saying that we should trade JOHNSON, but it could be an option.

I remember HOUSTON wanting JOHNSON in the draft, if he came down couple spots.

Maybe like JOHNSON + ? for MOBLEY?

DJ is one of our future stars we can't give him up becuase he will be a JT in a couple of years and this year is suppose to be his breakout season so I say no trade!

Mike,DJ can't even cut it in the summer league.He moves like

a robot,no postup game,no handles,can't get to the basket,

can't rebound.None of these have improved since his rookie

season.
