Atlanta trades: SF Toni Kukoc (9.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.6 apg in 25.3 minutes)

PG Emanual Davis (6.4 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.3 apg in 26.7 minutes)

Atlanta receives: SF Glenn Robinson (20.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.5 apg in 35.5 minutes)

Change in team outlook: +4.4 ppg, 0.0 rpg, and -3.4 apg.

Milwaukee trades: SF Glenn Robinson (20.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.5 apg in 35.5 minutes)

Milwaukee receives: SF Toni Kukoc (9.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.6 apg in 59 games)

PG Emanual Davis (6.4 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.3 apg in 29 games)

Change in team outlook: -4.4 ppg, 0.0 rpg, and +3.4 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Atlanta and Milwaukee being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Atlanta and Milwaukee had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Talk about it on the Trade Board

I finally took the time to input the numbers and wow... they fit.

I would do it. Having Theo/SAR/Big Dog/DJ/JT would still be a very competitive very good squad. Milwaukee does it to get out of his future contract.

Diesel,it's clear Babcock isn't gunna bring in anyone with a questionable

personaility. So you can cut guys like Big Dog and Wally off of the list.

Buck's would be pretty stupid to make a knee-jerk trade like this that would not help their team at all. Davis wouldn't even make their team, and Kukoc would just be in the way. You don't just give away 20 point scorers like that.

It would be a solid move for the Hawks, if they'd be willing to face the luxury tax, but I think Milwaukee would at the very least require a Nazr package to move G.R. right now. They know that his legal problems will probably blow over, and his value will return close to normal.

Wouldn't Toni HELP their team. Their problem has been:

1. Too Many Hands.

2. Not enough role players.

3. NO fluidity on Offense.

Toni brings all those things to the table. His versatility means that he can backup the 3, 4, and 5 spot.

PLUS...

They get out of Big Dog's 41 million dollar Contract. Even before this latest incident, they were trying to get rid of BIG DOG. The market was still unyielding to Big Dog because of his contract... THAT hasn't chance. Now, he's even cheaper than before. Milwaukee cannot afford to keep him and now they risk losing either Thomas or Allen if they do?

However, Toni's contract is up after next season. Toni brings Championship experience to their team... AND Leadership. Even Email can help them.

I think that they would think long and hard about it and probably would do it given the situation.

Not enough Balls, Not enough rebounders, Not enough Dee.

Toni doesn't help anything. He replaces GRob and brings another forward who can't rebound or play defence, and who needs the ball in his hands a great deal of the time to be successful. Toni, Mason, Cassell, & (to a lesser extint) Allen, all have the ability, and desire to create for others as well as score. Trading GRob for Toni would create even more chemistry problems than they had last season.

Milwaukee also wants to resign Scott WIlliams for 3 yrs... And possibly trade Mase away.

I imagine that some team would give them a C for Mason...

After Baker finds himself in Boston, maybe Seattle becomes interested in Mason?

Isn't Williams already in Phoenix?

Also, Mason's value is less than nothing. Even with Robinson's recent legal woes, he's still way more valuable than Mason. If they decide to move Robinson, they'll wait till his value is back higher, and go after a center in return.
