Peja to the Pacers for Ron Artest. I have not read anything on the web, just heard the radio report a few minutes ago.

Honestly it's hard to say who it benefits more. The Pacers get a helluva a shooter and the Kings get a very good scorer and a helluva defensive player, something they sorely need.

I think the Kings may have come out better on this, and the reason being is that Indy already got it's shooter in Stephen Jackson. You can never underestimate defense, and Ron Artest is a great defensive player.

Peja is a special player. Jackson is not even in his class. Artest is a great defensive player and a great compliment to O'Neal but this is just a great trade for Indiana. If they end up with Damp I consider them the team to beat in the East.

Apparently, the local ESPN radio affiliate guys were discussing the POSSIBILITY of such a deal and seeing what the fans thought about it. It has NOT actually happened.
