How much does a full page ad in the Sunday AJC cost? I think it would be great for Hawks fans to pitch in with an ad on the back page of the Sports section with our dislike (being nice here) of Mr. Belkin. I'd like to tell him that we're too smart, don't want to hear it, and to go back to Boston.

I have a crazier idea. What if we raise whatever money we can to do this amongst ourselves, and contact the 8 sane hawks owners and ask them for an anonymous donation to help pay the rest... No one would have to know and we can say that anonymous hawks fans paid for this as it would be true...

true, because the other owners ARE actually fans of the team, unlike Belkin, who simply wants to get control of a team, any team, in the nba...so only fans would be donating

First time caller, longtime listener . . .The deadline for a Sunday ad is usually Thursday, and you'd need to have it designed. It is expensive, though discounts can be had under certain circumstances. If money is raised and reasonably tasteful ad is put forward, I'd look into the possibility of having it published early next week, perhaps on Tuesday . . .
