Admin
Just heard on ESPN tonight that the NBA is talking about instituting variable pricing, meaning that tickets to see better teams play will cost more (IE the Lakers) whereas it will be cheaper to see poor teams play (IE the Grizzlies). By the way those are the examples that ESPN used, not me. I think its a good idea if you lower the prices of the poor teams and keep the prices the same for the good teams. If the bad teams prices stay the same and the good teams prices increase then I dont think thats such a good idea.
DJ_Money
Making people pay more to see the better teams is like jacking up gas/hotel prices when people are fleeing a hurricane. The NBA is trying to make a quick buck. They know who people want to see, so they want to get all the cash they can out of it, knowing that the casual fan is only going to see the visiting team anyway, so he's going to pay, instead of saying..."Oh well, I'll see them when the tickets are cheaper. " Sounds familiar, eh?
