    Tickets

Hey Rick - I tell everyone I can about this site, but check out SeatGeek. It aggregates tickets from a bunch of different secondary markets and basically assigns a rating based on price and where in the arena the ticket is. For the Nets game: https://seatgeek.com/nets-at-hawks-tickets/1-28-2015-atlanta-georgia-philips-arena/nba/2284841/ The bigger and darker the green bubble, the better value you are getting for your money!
  2. Korver's streak of 127 consecutive games with a 3-pointer is no longer in jeopardy after Steph Curry failed to make a 3 last night, stopping his streak at 75 games. Curry is probably the only active player posing a legitimate threat to the record, but not for another season and a half at least!
  3. Man, he looked good (and incredibly composed!) - I wish the lineup that Bud was trying out with him and Teague on the court at the same time would work, but it just.. doesn't. Love that Bud showed trust in him leaving him in during crunch time and love even more that he delivered!
  4. Ben Gordon - 2 years/$9 million Jodie Meeks - 3 years/$19.5 million Kent Bazemore - 2 years/$4 million That's all I have to say about that..
  5. I think you forgot Washington in your playoff picture, but the bright spot behind the East getting relatively stronger (at least more well-rounded) is that it might push Brooklyn back into the lottery! (One can only hope)
  6. Well, it's not asthma - he has abnormally small lungs which affects his stamina, and somewhat limited his minutes at Michigan State.
  7. Not sure how reliable Sam Amico is, but this is, at the very least, encouraging!
  8. Not sure about that - if Joey Crawford was carrying out the NBA's agenda I doubt he would have had that well-publicized gaffe from Tuesday that helped Memphis to win AT OKC. Something tells me the NBA would prefer it's MVP to advance in the playoffs rather than the Grizz. I think Joey Crawford is just a self-important tool that likes to insert himself into situations that don't need him.
  9. I was at Game 4 and the atmosphere was incredible! I can't imagine tomorrow nights. Also, GET THERE EARLY. We got there right at game time last game, and since they apparently have everyone going through airport-level security to get into the arena now, we didn't get to our seats until the end of the 1st.
  10. 11. Hawks are playing some beautiful basketball..
  12. Horford was just AWFUL tonight.. no confidence on offense, late to close on Ibaka on multiple jumpshots and got pushed around by the equally undersized Perkins/Ibaka combo.
  13. http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/projections/standings/ TeamRankings projects Brooklyn with a 30-52 record and just a 20.5% chance of making the playoffs after last night's loss.
  14. Jason Kidd in way over his head.. After 'philosophical differences', Jason Kidd demoting Lawrence Frank, who happens to be the only doing any real coaching on the team.. this is getting worse and worse for the Nets.
  15. http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/199601120BOS.html Dana Barros was 0-NINE on the game that broke his streak! The awesome thing about team-first KK is that I can't even picture him at the end of a game he doesn't have a 3 forcing a bad shot just to try to extend his streak.
  16. Nets with 7 assists and 20 turnovers.. Surely not what J-Kidd is preaching. This team has some major, major issues.
  17. I live in Nashville (which is inexplicably still in the blackout zone for the Hawks), so LeaguePass isn't an option for me. Instead, I've gone with ballstreams.com - this is my first year using it (I paid about $30 to try it out for 3 months) and it is incredible. HD streams that never cut out, are very quick to load, and you can play it on mobile or tablet without a problem. Best of all - no blackout or region restrictions. Highly recommended!
  18. Agreed - it really reinforces positive play from our 8th, 9th and 10th guys on our bench - you can't get much motivation as a bench warmer if you perform extremely well and you don't know if that means more minutes. Play well, play more, play poor, play less. Millsap didn't have it at all last night and it was refreshing to see him only play 26 minutes.
  19. Hawks also second in the league in TO's at just 13.0, so as you can imagine easily leading the league in AST/TO ratio at 2.10. WOO!
  20. Is our biggest FA pickup Millsap that forgettable?
  21. Sources tell Hoopsworld's Alex Kennedy that the Lakers will try to sign LeBron James in 2014. If LeBron opts out of his contract with Miami after the upcoming season, every single team in the league will obviously go after him. The Lakers will be in a unique position as they are the NBA's most storied franchise and will have virtually no guaranteed money on the books. The contracts of Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Metta World Peace, Steve Blake, Jordan Hill and Jodie Meeks all expire in 2014. Steve Nash can be cut via the stretch provision and only count $3.2 million against the cap. The Lakers would have the financial flexibility to allow James to bring whomever he wanted with him to Los Angeles.
  22. Our newest acquisition scoring 11 points in 28 seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCiHOpNJXnc
  23. Already looking in our back pocket, perhaps our stashed Euros like Sergiy Gladyr and Pape Sy are ready to come over?
  24. NICE. Hell of an endorsement from one of the greatest coaches in NBA history.
